Q: What kind of pasta and sauce is it? A: We don't know! MixTape prides themselves on using hyperlocal, hyper seasonal ingredients so we can't say what will be included until shortly before they're made. If you have allergies or other dietary restrictions, please let us know and we'll see if we are able to accommodate you.
Q:What is the difference between the Vegan and Vegetarian options? A:Vegan means made without any animal product, so there will be no eggs or dairy. Vegetarian means made without meat, but may include eggs or dairy products.
Q: When can I pick up my pasta pass package? A: We will have pick up times available May 11 and 12. Pasta Pass purchasers will be sent a sign up sheet for times closer to the event. You will be able to pick a time slot that works best for you, from approximately 11am to 7 pm on either day.
Q: How do I play trivia online? A: Your team will have a shared online workbook made for you, sent out the day of the event. Anyone in your trivia team can edit the answers. You will also receive a link to the live stream at the same time, so we recommend having two devices. One to watch, and one to answer in. our Trivia Masters, Beat the Geek Trivia, will be grading your answers for each section as the show moves forward. How you want to communicate with your team is entirely up to you! Zoom, Skype, Facebook Rooms-- A good old fashioned phone call? Anything works as long as you remember-- no cheating!
Q: Do I have to do both pasta and trivia? I just want to do (one of them) A: You can do either or both of them, it's entirely your choice. As the pasta pass will be available a few days before trivia, you don't have to save it until Friday, or have a trivia ticket to enjoy it. Likewise, if you're outside of the Seattle area, or pasta is not your preference, you're welcome to just participate in the online trivia.
Q: I hate trivia and pasta-- how else can I help the cats? A: Answer our riddles- Just kidding! Donations of any amount can be made through the registration page, and go directly to our clinic and our fundraising goal of $12,000. You can also share the event with your trivia loving friends, as the event is digital anyone can join.
